William Derge’s From the Edge is a study of the minutia. Oyamel trees, municipal airports, pizza slices, and farm animals all populate these numerous marvels. For Derge, poetry is the perfect language to describe the “dust momentarily shifting on [his] glasses,” and he utilizes it to appreciate the many wonders we live through.
